                                   HOW TO MAKE GLASS BREAK SIMULATION USING

                                                                        PULLDOWNIT

TODAY I want to show you a tutorial how to make glass break  simulation using pulldownit plugins

firstly open your autodesk maya software



go to create > polygon primitives > sphere




make your glass model using cylinder




add edge loop tool and scale tool to shape your model



now time to move the sphere through the glass

use four wiew to make sure the ball does not stray




select translate x,y,z and right click your mouse and click key selected

 

 

 
                                                         

 

mow its time to use pull down it open your pulldownit plugins

 

 

 select your glass model and select shatterit feature

 and select

  
                                   select shatter it and you can see breaks in your glass model

 

 

 

now select pdi body for sphere and choose kinematic

 

 

 

select create pdi body for glass model and choose static also tick at active at first hit

 

 

finally

run your animation and it will take a few minutes during your pc spect

TODAY I want to show you a tutorial HOW TO INSTALL PULLDOWNIT PLUGINS in maya

firstly you need to download pulldownit
you can download PDI here
http://forum.gfxdomain.net/maya/10281-pulldownit-pro-v2-5-maya-2011-2013-winonly-ind.html

after your download complete open your pulldownit files


make new folder and copy this your PDI files
and give it name maya plugins

 

 

 

 

 copy your PDI files in to maya plugins folder that you have create.

paste your files here.


open your autodesk maya




go to MEL and type getenv MAYA_APP_DR


and press ENTER,you will see where your directory


go to C:\Users\\Documents\maya



open pdiMaya.txt


replace your default pdimaya.txt with pdimaya.txt that you have download
change the directory to c:\maya plugins\(your pdi folder)

restart your autodesk maya




and you can see pdi in your maya



but if pdi did not show up on your autodesk maya

just go to windows >  settings/preferences > plug-in manager

 

 tick pdiMaya2x.mll box




now you can enjoy your pulldownit plugins and I hope you understand

hello you all,today want to show you a tutorial about making model in maya,there are many model you can create using autodesk maya if you are the Experienced users of autodesk maya ,but if you are someone who is new in maya,this tutorial is for you,okay no let get start



first go to create > polygon primitives > cylinder
drag the base on the grid,then pull up for height                   


go to edit mesh > insert edge loop tool

if you not find edit mesh in menu,
just change it to polygons


you can find insert edge loop tool at this panel
and other tools
insert edge loop tool icon look like this


use four wiew to facilitate your form objects easily



use scale tool to facilitate your object


press ctrl + z to undo if you make a mistake



double click at the line that you want to scale it
click at yellow cube and scale it


scale it with your own creativity,but if you mistakenly
just undo.

press ctrl + left mouse to look around your model

press number 3 to make your model more smooth



this is my own model look funny but hope you can do it
if you want to make a bottle,glass,vase the stept is same
but make it with your own creativity
